OSTEOPATHIC TRAINING
Our Osteopathic Manual Practitioners have completed a full-time four year Master of Osteopathy degree, which included at least 1000 hours of supervised clinical practice and passing clinical examinations.
Both Rob and Hania graduated from the University College of Osteopathy in the U.K.
Osteopathic training consists of in-depth education in anatomy, physiology, clinical procedures and palpation. There is a real focus on clinical examination procedures, clinical reasoning and mastering a wide range of osteopathic treatment techniques for professional practice.
OSTEOPATHY IN ONTARIO
Osteopathy is not a regulated profession in Canada. Rob and Hania are members of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners and are covered by most insurance companies.
Rob and Hania are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) in the UK and registration requires a degree from an institution with a recognised standard of education. It is mandatory to complete continuing profession education to maintain registration. Our practitioners complete continuing professional development every year and take part in postgraduate training courses regularly.
